These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Orstrum website and account service at orstrum.com and the Orstrum plugin for Claude Code (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Orstrum, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at tyler@aforah.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You agree not to:
Ownership. You retain ownership of your source code, your prompts, your sessions and everything the plugin records about them. All of it stays on your machine; we never receive it.
What we hold. The only data the Service stores about you is your account, workspace, subscription state, and hashed license keys. See the Privacy Policy.
Responsibility. The plugin changes how Claude Code behaves in your projects (for example, by checkpointing files and, on request, restoring them). You are responsible for reviewing its actions as you would any tool with write access to your working tree. It never modifies your git repository.
Subscriptions. The Pro plan is billed in advance per seat on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices are listed on our pricing section and may change with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Adding seats mid-cycle is pro-rated and charged immediately; removing seats takes effect at the next billing cycle.

The Free tier covers unlimited local use of the plugin's measuring, budget policy, and loop detection. Checkpoints, rollback, handoff, recall, project rules, and team workspaces require a paid plan. The core of the plugin is published under the MIT license and the paid features under the Functional Source License (FSL-1.1-MIT); those licenses, not these Terms, govern the source code.
The Service, including its UI, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by Orstrum, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. The plugin's source code is licensed separately as described above. Orstrum is not affiliated with Anthropic; Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security vulnerabilities.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORSTRUM, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE — EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR DIRECT DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You may cancel a paid subscription at any time from the dashboard under Settings → Billing. To close your account entirely, email tyler@aforah.com and we will delete it within 30 days. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases and we will delete your data per our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
