Pro license
A Pro key is a workspace API key from the dashboard. The plugin verifies it once per session and keeps the tier for a week if it can't reach the server.
Activate
- Subscribe in the dashboard: Pro is per seat, monthly or annual.
- In the same page, generate a key. It's shown once; copy it.
- In Claude Code, on each machine:
/orstrum:orstrum license ork_… - Start a new session. The Pro tools now answer instead of returning their one-line stub.
What's checked, and when
The key is stored in ~/.orstrum/license.json. When the MCP server starts (once per Claude Code session) it asks www.orstrum.com/api/license for the key's tier. The request carries the key and nothing else: no project path, no events, no code. Hooks never check the license, so nothing on the hot path depends on the network.

Seats and teams
A subscription has a seat count. Three or more seats make the workspace a Team: invite members from the dashboard and each one mints their own key. Removing a member frees a seat; lowering the seat count takes effect at the next billing period.
Revoke
Revoke a key from the dashboard. Every machine using it drops to Free at its next session start. Keys are stored hashed; a lost key can't be recovered, only replaced.
